Biomechanics and Weight Loss

I am the author of the book; “Biomechanics and Weight Loss”.

In the first part of the book (Part One, chapter 1 and chapter 2) contains my groundbreaking discovery into the biological basis for body fat formation and body fat distribution.

It is the fact that when people are gaining weight their upper body gain a round appearance. The rib cage is expanding and getting a more rounded shape. I have discovered not only the mechanism underlining body fat formation and body fat distribution but also why along with gaining the weight, the rib cage is expanding and getting more rounded. (As far as I know, no one before even asked the question why the rib cage is expanding and at the same time the upper body is gaining more rounded appearance.) In this book it is explained why that’s happening and how to reverse this process in order to gain a flat chest.

By analysing the biomechanics of sitting (chapter 4) I have discovered that the widespread of modern upholstered sitting furniture, particularly the less costly version is the main factor for such an increase in obesity in recent decades.

The widespread use of less costly versions of upholstered sitting furniture is the reason why obesity effects to a greater extent the less affluent population.

In households where the sitting furniture is equipped with firm seats and without armsrest or backrest, there are no obese children…. In the house without upholstered sitting furniture where the ground consists of the wooden floor without soft carpet, there are no obese pets. The man made environmental changes have caused the change in the biomechanics of walking and sitting. Changes in the biomechanics cause changes in the biochemistry.

Not only obesity but as well as many other negative health conditions are caused by the widespread use of modern style upholstered sitting furniture.

It is a fact that dementia, mainly Alzheimer's, but including other forms of senility, more than trebled in the world and only Japan was not affected.

For the majority of scientists the food is the most obvious explanation for the exclusion of Japan and some other people that live a traditional life style like the Inuit people, from many of these trends of rising brain diseases and this is a wrong assumption.

In reality, the people of Japan and the Inuit people that still live traditional lifestyles have one thing in common, and that is that modern upholstered furniture still is less common in Japan and among the Inuit people.

The incidence of type 1 diabetes is increasing by three to four per cent a year in industrialised countries and only Japan is not affected.

According to the British Medical Journal; “A child in Finland is almost 40 times more likely to develop type 1 diabetes than a child in Japan” (Japan has one of the lowest incidence rates of type 1 diabetes in the world.) The reason for that is that Japan, like no other country in the world, is maintaining traditional way of sitting and a great percentage of the population still use the traditional Japanese sitting furniture and practicing traditional Japanese style of sitting.

It is noteworthy that not a single case of type 1 diabetes is reported by the Inuit people. In the case of Japan and the Inuit people have one thing in common and that is the absence or the low prevalence of sitting furniture equipped with backrest.

The children in Japan are to a far lesser extent exposed to new man made environments (modern style sitting furniture like armchair, sofa and couch) compared to the children in most industrialized countries. (Much more about Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and the Biomechanics of Sitting is in the book)

In the article; “WLS, Diabetes and the Biomechanics of Sitting and Walking” (chapter 4) I have explained the mechanism underlining the remission-cure of type two diabetes that occur by most patients immediately after weight loss surgery before any significant weight loss occurs. This discovery alone will enable to effectively combat the worldwide epidemic of type 2 diabetes. Furthermore, I have discovered that weight loss that occurs after WLS is not due to the restriction of food intake (the patient already tried to lose weight by restricting food intake before WLS) but is due to the change of biomechanics caused by WLS.

The mechanism underlining weight loss induced by WLS is identical to the mechanism underlining involuntary weight loss by people affected with certain types of injuries.

In the second part of the book (Part Two) are clearly described and illustrated 26 “Postural and Motor Skill Exercises” (107 pages). Those postural and motor skill exercises range from beginning to advanced levels of difficulty.

Moderate involvement in just a few non-strenuous exercises of this kind and at the same time reducing the time spent sitting on upholstered sitting furniture will enable everyone independent of their age, health condition and physical performance ability, to lose excessive body weight in a safe and effective way. On the other side involvement in postural and motor skill exercises will lead to great health improvements.

The great number of specially designed postural and motor skill exercises described in this book, does not cause an increase in breathing and hearth rates but will effectively lead to improvements in body strength, improvement of the sense of balance etc and all that will lead to gaining in the ability of carrying our own body weight more ease along with far reaching positive consequences for the body weight, shape and health.

My groundbreaking discovery about how the body’s biomechanics affect the body’s biochemistry will enable everyone to stay longer younger and it will enable them to reverse premature ageing.

Revolutionary Weight Loss Concept

Buy this book from Amazon.com

The revolutionary weight loss concept is based on a groundbreaking discovery into the biological basis for body fat formation and body fat distribution.

The essential information necessary to prevent, treat and cure

- obesity

- abdominal obesity

- gynecomastia

- saggy fat-flesh tissues

- double chin

- excessive skin

are for the first time ever revealed in this book.

In the second part of this book there are (for the first time ever) designed strenuous and non-strenuous Postural and Motor Skill Exercises.

Just involvement in non-strenuous postural and motor skill exercises only will enable everyone, including the people affected with negative health conditions, to lose excessive weight on a safe and effective way (without dieting and without involvement in exerting physical activity).
